Fire Rated Meter Over Box

The Fire Rated Meter Over Box is a retrofit solution for keeping your gas and electrical meters well protected.

Independently tested by a UKAS accredited laboratory the Fire Rated Meter Over Box achieves a 90 minute integrity fire rating. Intumescent seal factory fitted to the rear of the panel ensures that in the case of a fire, gaps are closed and the fire is contained.

Not only is The Fire Rated Meter Over Box simple to fit, but the fixing holes are also concealed within the rear of the box to avoid any unsightly fixing points. Simply fit this using the supplied holes to the inside of the meter cupboard, this can fit over an old or new meter door.
